What Food and Drinks "TRIGGER" Anger?

So . . . do you have the answer to that question???
Well . . . you probably guessed wrong . . . because it's more complex than just one food and/or beverage.
So, let's start at the beginning . . . to better understand . . .
Do you ever "wake" in the morning about 3:00 am???
Well . . . you're NOT ALONE my friends!!!
Because studies show about 68% of all Americans . . . wake around that time . . . and CAN'T go back to sleep . . .
So . . . why is that. . . and what does that have to do with . . . "ANGER"???
Well . . . I've spoken many times before about the hormone called . . . "Cortisol".
And this hormone is our "stress" hormone . . . and "BELLY FAT PRODUCER"!!!
NOW . . . this hormone can function in a "voluntary" and "involuntary' manner.
Meaning . . . under typically normal conditions . . . Cortisol . . . "STARTS" to do its "voluntary" job between 2:00 and 3:00 am in the morning . . .
And with this . . . the body's normal mechanics "volunteers" Cortisol to step to action . . .
It "rises" gradually . . . until it peaks about 6:00 am . . .
Then starts to DECREASE . . . and "finishes" its job about 9:00 am . . .
Now, why does it do its job soooooo early in the morning you ask???
Well . . . this is the body's "natural rhythm" . . . that helps us prepare for the day by increasing alertness . . . blood sugar . . . and energy availability.
This my friends . . . is your "internal clock"!!!
It regulates our "sleep-wake cycle" . . .
So, when you "wake" in the morning "normally" at say 6ish . . .
That's the "Cortisol Awakening Response" that helps you feel awake . . . alive . . . and energized in the morning.
This in turn . . . sets your day for a healthy . . . happy . . . good food choice kind of day!!!
So, WHAT can disrupt this natural "sleep rhythm"???
And where does "anger" fit into all of this???
Well . . . tomorrow let's continue to better understand the body and its "mechanics".
