What is "DIETING" all about anyway?

So, the question for today is this . . .
What is "DIETING" really all about???
Because to be honest . . . we ALL HATE THAT WORD!!!
So, what's the "real" meaning to the world "DIET"???
Well . . . in nutrition . . . "diet" . . . is the sum of food consumed by a person.
Simple as that . . .
So . . . even a dietary intake of "junk food" . . . is considered . . . a "DIET" . . .
It's just a "way" of eating people!!!
So, we need to NOT get freaked out by just . . . a WORD!!!
Now . . . did you know . . . there are 4 "styles" of eating???
And they would be . . .
Fuel eating
Joy eating
Fog eating
and Storm eating
So, let's break it down to better understand . . .
First up . . . "FUEL EATING" . . .
Now . . . this is all about . . . "consciously" choosing nourishing, whole foods like fruits, veggies, lean proteins and whole grains . . .
Which provides the body with . . . energy and nutrients for optimal health!!!
Next up is . . . "JOY EATING" . . .
This way of eating . . . we would find "pleasure", "satisfaction" . . . and even a deep "connection" with that food.
Meaning . . . enjoying the taste, texture and aromas
Next . . . "FOG EATING" . . .
And unfortunately . . . many of us land in this "styles" of eating . . .
Meaning . . . "fog eating" is about . . . "mindless" or "distracted" eating habits . . .
You know . . . when we consume food without being fully aware of "what" . . . "why" . . . or "how" . . . much we're eating . . .
And this typically occurs due to "habit" . . . "boredom" . . . or "environmental" situations.
And MOST OF THE TIME . . . we're NOT even really hungry!!!!
And finally we have . . . "STORM EATING" . . .
Now . . . in today's crazy world . . . we are seeing more and more of this type of eating style . . .
You see . . . "storm eating" is using food . . . to "cope" with difficult emotions like . . . sadness, anger and anxiety.
And this can also be a form of "binge eating" . . .
NOW . . . do YOU fit into any of these "eating styles"???
