What's "Ozempic" really all about?

So, today . . . let's break it down to better understand what we're "actually" doing to our body "long term" by taking the "weight loss drug" called "Ozempic".

Now . . . did you know . . . that "Ozempic" . . . a common prescription medication used for "weight loss" . . . is ACTUALLY . . . a prescription to treat "Type 2 Diabetes"???

That's right people . . . we being "mislead" once again . . .

You see . . . it's not a form of "insulin" . . . but rather classified as a GLP-1 receptor agonist.

And with this . . . it "mimics" the natural hormone called GLP-1 . . . that the body releases after we eat . . .

This in turn . . . helps manage blood sugar and appetite by stimulating "insulin" production when blood sugar is high . . . reducing sugar from the liver . . . and slowing the stomach from emptying . . .

Which makes us feel full!!!!

BUT, guess what????

"Ozempic" have NOT been APPROVED by the FDA as a "WEIGHT LOSS DRUG"!!!

But . . . it's still being "prescribed" as one for our "weight loss" needs.

And surprisingly enough . . . our military health system prescription rate "increased" nearly 1oo-fold between 2018 and 2023 for this "drug"!

So, what did the "pharmaceutical's" do to get around this issue???

Well . . . they got the FDA to approve a weight loss drug called Wegovy . . . which has the SAME active ingredient called Samaglutide that's in Ozempic.

BUT . . . with a HIGHER DOSE of Samaglutide than Ozempic!!!!!

Well . . . for them . . . PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!

BUT . . . what are the common side effects from this "trickery"???

Well . . . many times we see . . . gastrointestinal issues like constipation, stomach pain, diarrhea, nausea and/or vomiting.

And on a more serious note . . . pancreatitis, gallbladder or kidney issues . . . and potential thyroid tumors!!!!

And the reality of all that, is this . . . "weight GAIN" is common once this drugs is stopped and the hormonal effects wear off.

And guess what my friends . . .

These 2 "weight loss drugs" . . . are the ones that most of the "pathetically thin" celebrities are using . . .

They are NOT our "role models" people!!!
