Who has the "biggest" issue with "Oxalates" and "Phytates"?

Mindy Lee

So, this week we've been talking about the "oxalates" and "phytates" in the "magnesium" rich foods we consume . . . or "should" be consuming due to their "nutritional value".

And how to "counteract" the "bad" part of these "anti-nutrients".

But . . . we also have learned that eating a "well-balanced diet" is key to these issues . .

So, who is at the "greatest" risk???

Well . . . that would be . . . Vegans and Vegetarians . . .

Why you ask???

Well . . . this is due to certain foods that are "staples" of vegans and/or vegetarians that are "high in anti-nutrients" . . . which can lead to "kidney stones" and other health issues.

So, eating more "protein" . . . other than beans, nuts and tofu . . . is a must to add to the diet for optimal health.

So, now . . . I'm sure some of you are asking . . . what other kind of "protein" can vegans eat that is "LOW" in "OXALATES"???

Well . . . "NUTRITIONAL YEAST" is a "complete protein" that is "LOW" in oxalates

It's a "deactivating" yeast that contains 9 essential amino acids, a rich source of B vitamins and "fortifies" zinc, magnesium, copper and manganese in the body.

It's "low" in "Oxalates" . . . and it's a "fermented" food so it's LOW in "phytates" also.

So, again I say . . . "optimal health" . . . is all about a WELL BALANCED DIET!!!

Stay safe and have a great weekend . . . and be "mindful" of your world!
